Today, for me.  I've been up late every night since Saturday so far, and I didn't get sleep at all last night.  Even right now I've just finished writing a last-minute essay for one of my liberal arts classes at almost 7 AM.  Yesterday I had a crit that I was preparing for (and that went very well actually).  But it's kinda neat to have to do stuff like this.  It'll at least make Thursday all the more relaxing. I have some things that I wanna post soon.  One of them I need to photograph (it's an oil painting I did for the crit I mentioned), and the other I want to finish more (it's a digital thing I did for my Photo for Illustrators class).

A new year has come (allovertheplace), and while a lot of people see it as a new beginning, I just kinda see it as the middle of Winter break, after which I'll need to go back to school.  College, which I'm not very enthusiastic about just because of a single class with a vague purpose and an unbearable teacher called Pictorial Foundation.  It's literally the only downer to school this year, and it feels like school always has to have at least one class like this every year, every semester.  But why, why does school have to end up sucking in at least one factor? Anyway, I already can't wait for the year to be over, just to be done with that

I'm so fucking proud of that avatar that I've made.  Finally I feel like I have a thing that I can keep for a long time.  I'm even more proud of the original animation I created that I made the avatar from.  The process I used was so illegitimate, and I can't even remember it without putting serious thought into it, but I did it by hand, on paper, and I'm SO FUCKING HAPPY AT HOW GOOD IT TURNED OUT.  Sorry.  I feel like the animation helps illustrate what kind of person Jasmine (that character) is.  It also feels kind of like a holding place, like hammering a piton into a high point on a cliff; I've made that point of progress, and even though
